In 2011 you will start to see DVDs and Blu-rays in your shops branded with a new UltraViolet logo. This logo means that when you buy the physical copy of the Movie you are also buying a digital copy of the Movie.

To access this digital copy you need to create a free UltraViolet Household Account online and register your purchase.

Your UltraViolet Household account holds all your digital copies so that you can access them anywhere at any time. Your household can consist of up to six people. So even if your kids are staying at their Grandmas they can still see their favourite programs as long as they are registered members of your household.

You can then download the digital copy on up to twelve registered UltraViolet devices and watch them offline.

You can also choose to stream your content to any compatible device with a screen and internet connection.

Managing your UltraViolet Household Account couldn’t be easier. The control centre allows you to manage what media is seen by which members of the household to ensure that your children do not have access to inappropriate content.

You also no longer have to worry about filling up the hard drive with content or backing up your Movies. They are now all stored in your online UltraViolet account.
