As a Content Provider of physical DVDs and Blu-rays of Movies and TV Shows displaying the UltraViolet logo you are an essential part in the digital content revolution that is the UltraViolet project.
- Essentially you have three new responsibilities:
- You have to have UltraViolet versions for every physical Movie that you are selling with a UltraViolet logo attached. This involves creating Movie packages that are compliant with UltraViolet specifications and support all the required DRMs.
- You have to distribute the Movie packages (along with associated meta data) to the all the new retailers, download service providers and streaming providers that you have agreed can sell your UltraViolet content.
- You need to pass data about the Movies that you are distributing to the UltraViolet Digital Rights Locker.
InstaDigital takes the challenge out of these activities. With InstaDigital you can securely pass us content which we can then package up for you (creating multiple packages for multiple DRM technologies) and certify that it meets UltraViolet specification before either passing it back to you or distributing it to your clients through an interface that you control.
InstaDigital can also pass meta data from the packaging process to the UltraViolet Digital Rights Locker so that the Digital Locker is aware of the UltraViolet Movies that you are providing.
